packing bags

We recently started getting a box of fresh fruits and vegetables from a local farmers' group. I quickly became frustrated with unpacking the box, especially the bag of green beans. Why something so simple? Because the packer had decided that the best way to place the bag in the container was to have the opening of the bag pointed towards the bottom so that when one seized the bag from the top, the bag would disperse its contents all over the place. One might think that I would get wise to the situation, but I have not yet reached that point. Tricia would point out that I shouldn't get so upset about such a little thing, but I preferred to sulk a bit anyway.

I was reminded of the stupidity of my frustration the other day when preparing Becca's snack of Cheerios and raisins that we give her during church. After dispersing the raisins among the Cheerios, I twisted the bag of raisins shut and placed it in its associated Ziploc bag...top down. That's right, exactly like I was grousing at the packers of our fruits and vegetables for doing.
